Now this book is appropriate for those of us who have normal blood tests and the Dr's won't listen even with a history of thyroid disorder's. Nothing is left to chance in this book which is advisable considering the thyroids function. How Dr's can rely on just a blood test to determine if something is working or not is beyond me. This book will show and tell you what you can look for yourself and then you can present it to your Dr. Do not let a blood test determine your life. Read this book and you will be armed with the knowledge that your Dr seems to be lacking. And in the long run you may be saving yourself a lot of pain, grief and your life.

I heard about Dr. Mark Starr and his book on Coast to Coast, this guy really knows his stuff and Hypothyroidism. If you are small business owner or have a high demand job and over 35 yrs old, get your thyroid checked. And don't always go along what your doctor says if you have it to take the medical, read this book and give it to your doctor before going on a T4 medication, this book will make it a lot easier understanding the facts about hypothroidism. You need to read this book. I am currently seeing Dr. Starr and I am so excited to finally find a doctor that treats my symptoms and not my blood test results.
He explains the Correct way to diagnose and treat Hypothyroidism in plain English. After reading it, you will also realize that almost everyone you know suffers from low thyroid hormone in one way or another. And it's easy to treat.
I highly recommend this book to everyone, including my previous Drs. As a matter of fact, I think I will get them copies and slam it on their counters.

How blood test might be missing thyroid problems and how to "suggest" to your doctor other fields of inquiry. I suspect this is my problem, now to use this info to "enlighten my doctor".
Doing a temperature chart to show low body temperature and will make a list of all the odd symptoms showing adrenal problems and get him to read the book how this influences the cells inability to use the thyroid hormones produced by the thyroid and why one can still be sick when the lab results show no thyroid problems.
