Book Review: Dr. Starr Saved My Daughter's Life

I personally know Dr. Starr. He treated my family for years until he moved. My daughter had been treated for hypothyroidism for years. She kept having her synthroid doseage raised by her Doctor. A very prominent Endocronologist is Savannah. She was getting worse and worse. Another daughter had heard about Dr. Starr so we went to see him. He told us there is a direct correlation between thyroid dysfunction and the adrenals. He had her do a 24 hour pee test and it showed she was nearly in RENAL FAILURE. The "prominent" Doctor had not even suggested such a test. Immediately Dr. Starr started treating her and gradually changed her from synthroid to natural thyroid. She started getting better and now leads a normal life.
He saved her life. We will be forever grateful. He is an amazing man with an important message. I've given copies of his book to family and friends.

I cannot believe this, everything this man says is true, and same for my mother. Im so please after 5 years of battling with fatigue that this is the answer. since reading this book, I found a doctor who knows about this in UK and i am planning a visit to him. Im so excited and intrigued to see how the medication will react. Will post a message again and will let you know. In the meantime I have high hopes I can cure myself. My poor mother was gobsmacked when i told her. She suffered from this syndrome for all of her adult life, and nobody could help her. Now I will make sure she gets cured to experience some good quality life in her remaining years. My message is never stop at your doctors words. always seek for the truth. They told me to go home and rest as there is nothing wrong with me.Book Review: Very informative

My family and myself come from Emmett, Idaho; one of the nuclear fallout areas from the Nevada Testing done in the '50s. Recently, we were featured in Reader's Digest regarding the extremely high thyroid cancer rates in the area.
Thyroid cancer did not get recognized for years as an issue in Emmett and now the other physical problems associated with thyroid dysfunction need to be addressed as well. Unfortunately, if your blood tests do not tell the doctors what they want, you will continue to suffer.
Thank goodness for Doctors that are brave enough to face their peers and give those of us suffering information and hope. I suggest that readers pursue the references and doctors provided in this book that take Type II Thyroid issues seriously.

Dr. Starr has given us many of the missing pieces of the puzzle!
I knew that my doctors were "missing something" as I still had many hypothyroid symptoms, even though my bloodtests indicated that I had a more than sufficient thyroid level. . -- Dr. Starr speaks of doctors "treating the tests" and that is what mine were doing. -- They missed my actual symptoms, because the "blood work" and other tests, did not show low thyroid levels.
Thank you Dr. Starr for finally giving us many missing pieces to the puzzle! !
For more of the puzzle pieces, I suggest reading Dr. Denis Wilson's book "Wilson's Temperature Syndrome". It adds more to what Dr. Starr has written.
Book Review: Best book ever written

I am so impressed with Dr. Starr's book! He shows the actual research that has already been done on thyroid issues. He proves his case with established research. It is very solid.
Obviously, he has imporved his own thyroid condition to the extent that he can think very well.
I have suffered from this condition for a number of years. The book cracked open my problem, exposing the myriad symptoms for the syndrome they are.
Dr. Starr offers a simple and safe suggestion that a patient can improve this condition with natural dessicated thyroid.
He is on it! Suffice to say, with my condition corrected, I feel he has saved my life. Please read this book.
