I am undergoing Hydrogen Peroxide IV therapy (1x weekly for 20 weeks). This treatment was recommended to me by a nurse practitioner who had used it with amazing results for an infection that became resistant to antibiotics. Initially, I searched the internet for information. Excellent information was available, especially in the form of testimonials from patients. This book provided additional information. It helped me understand the bio-mechanics of what is happening in my body.Though this book is "user-friendly", I think it would have been improved by one more editing. An update, including current doctors using this treatment nationwide would be extremely helpful. What I did like about the author, was his friendly "bedside manner" and his courage to tackle the AIDS epidemic in Africa with Hydrogen Peroxide.
This treatment is seen by many nowadays as hype or voodoo, especially by the traditional medical community. Many have never heard of it. It is my understanding it was widely used in the 40's, however. Doctors are returning to it, because patients with problems like candidiasis, hepatitis, HIV, herpes, viral pneumonia, gangrene, or immunity problems are not well-served by western modern medicine. Nobody wants to be told they have an incurable disease. This treatment gives hope where none else exists. Since I have not yet completed my treatment, I am unable to comment at this time, with authority, on its efficacy.

I wish I had found this years ago,when my husband was first diagnosed with Leukemia. Knowing what I now know,I believe, more than ever, that doctors need to be educated about more natural-less lethal methods-chemo does so much damage-the damage from the chemo is what caused my husband's untimely death,at an early age, and caused unnecessary and devastating health problems for years. My campaign to vindicate his death,will be to educate people and doctors about the horrors of chemo=while many people survive the effects of chemo,there are an equal, if not greater number who do not. There needs to be an outcry against such therapies-and an insistence that newer, less toxic remedies be implemented. These treatments are inhumane,and usually "pushed" on patients and their families as the "only solution" to treating an aray of frightening diseases.Book Review: Per Health

Hydrogen PeroxideI am following the author's suggestion - using baking soda and hydrogen peroxide for brushing teeth, hydrogen peroxide for mouthwash. The results are good so far - clean teeth, pink, less--inflamed gums, and no bad breath. I commend Dr Douglas for his championing of older, simnpler, more natural remedies that work as well as, or better than pricy, chemically dubious stuff that is offfered for public consumption.
