This book is FABULOUS! Although some of the words aren't a direct translation (for rhyming purposes), the gist of the story is the same and the rhyming makes it flow so well! My 3 month old listens with rapt attention as I read it to him. I wish there were more books like this one!Book Review: A wonderful, fun book

I bought this book for 2 reasons. The first was to help me practice my Spanish. The second was to read it to Spanish children that are in my congregation. The children love it! A wonderful children's book in Spanish. Juan Ramon is persuasive and perserveres in the end by getting the narrator to eat Green Eggs with Ham. The words rhyme very nicely in Spanish. Needed something in Spanish for read-aloud at Dr. Seuss Night at local elementary school. This was perfect - a little tongue-twisty in spots, but so, so much better than than the Spanish version of The Cat In the Hat, which is a literal translation with no rhyme.
