Book Review: I enjoyed the book

I actually enjoyed the book. It gives you an idea on the ruffles and how the clothing drapes the body. Really helpful if you are creating a character with frilly clothing. This book also has some poses that will be very helpful if you get stuck on a certain pose. It has posing in chairs with the legs crossed (one that I say can be very difficult!), reclining,kneeling on one leg, bowing, and so on. If you are looking to draw characters from the feudal era (like inuyasha) or a shrine maiden/ or maid, then this is definately a book for you. It isn't for beginners though, I think it may be more for those along the levels of intermediate and above. For those who are weary of nudity, then this is also a book for you, It doesn't contain any nudity at all.

In this volume, which targets all levels of manga artists, from those first starting out to the highly advanced, explanations of techniques in drawing maid uniforms and the traditional dress of miko (maiden in the service of a Shinto shrine) are provided along with copious amounts of images.
