Book Reviews of Hotel Babylon

Book Review: great stuff
Summary: 5 Stars

I really enjoyed this book. As someone who spends a lot of time travelling abroad and staying in five star hotels this is was a real eye-opener. The book is packed with great stories, anecdotes and loads of celebrity gossip and I found it hilarious, entertaining and the prefect thing to take on a long haul flight. I read it one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I liked the 24 hour format and I would recommend to anyone who is at all curious and who has a sense of humour.

Book Review: A fun read
Summary: 5 Stars

For Christmas I received both Hotel and Fashion Babylon. I loved the show for all the tidbits of what goes on behind the scenes at a luxury hotel and the book did not disappoint. It is a quick read, but I enjoyed it so much, I hunted down the rest of the Babylon books off the Amazon UK site and am eagerly awaiting Imogen Edwards-Jones newest foray into the inside world of the Wedding industry. If you liked this one, check out Fashion Babylon and Air Babylon for sure.

Book Review: The secret is out
Summary: 5 Stars

A must-read for anyone who has ever worked for a luxury hotel, or just stayed in one. I've been in the industry for 6 years with 4 different luxury properties, and the stories and characters are as real to me as the people I've met in my daily life. The book is funny and gives the reader a true picture of what goes on within the four walls of the top hotels all over the world. Not all is as perfect as it may appear on the surface.

Book Review: The Skinny on Hotels
Summary: 5 Stars

Juicy beyond details. Loved the inside scoop on behind the scenes at some of the best hotels in the London...and the crazy things celebs demand during their visits. No wonder the BBC launched an entire series based on the book (which is equally as entertaining.)

Book Review: Couln't put it down
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm not one for soap operas but this "dramedy" had me hooked. If you want to know how the other half really lives read this book.
