It all begins when an Andalite named Aldrea comes with her family to the unknown Hork-Bajir planet for her mother's job. There she meets a Hork-Bajir named Dak Hamee. But, unlike other Hork-Bajir, Dak is a "seer". This means that he is smarter than other Hork-Bajir. So Aldrea starts to teach him things like math. Then the Yeerks come and bomb the planet, leaving Aldrea an orphan. Aldrea and Dak fight the Yeerks to survive, but who will win?

Chronicling the lives and fortunes of Dak, a Hork-Bajir Seer, born to save his people from a Yeerk invasion and Aldrea, a female Andalite, sent to the Hork-Bajir planet after her father's misguided kindness gave the Yeerks their power.Dak Hamee, born into the Hork-Bajir tribe, is something special from the start.
