Book Review: Home To Holly Springs
Summary: 5 Stars
I enjoyed this story which is a continuation and an explaination of Father Tim's life and self evaluation.
It does revert back to his childhood, and is sometimes difficult to follow the present vs. the past.
Nevertheless it is written in the typical Jan Karon style with humor and good taste. Anyone who has enjoyed the Mitford Series, would like this book.

the whole series of Karons books, telling about the life of Father Tim, have been wonderful. I have read them all. Am waiting impatiently for the next one to appear. It took me a while to get started on them when I was first told about them, but than, I could not put them down, when I got into them. Not quite as lighthearted as the others, this story is emotional and moving. It was wonderful learning all about Tim as a child and then a young man, especially when remembered through his eyes as well. I have fallen in love with Jan Karon's books about Father Tim and was so happy to see that she has started a new series starting with him returning to his home town.
