I have 4 other books on this subject. I got this one recently and so far, I like it best. It's the only one that has inspired me to track down some equipment and take this seriously. After reading through it and going back and reading some of my other titles, I think I figured out why. Iverson writes in a very logical yet conversational way. He seems to anticipate your next question. Perhaps most of all, the guy genuinely wants you to make good wine, even if you live in a state where fresh wine grapes aren't exactly down the street. I live in Illinois, and this is the first book I've found that gives really solid advice on how to get prepared musts: which ones to choose or avoid, why one is better or worse, and what to expect from each kind of product. That alone is worth the price of the book for many people. Iverson is down to earth about these things- he writes for everyone regardless of locale or budget. Pretty cool.
