The captivating Tulane's Of Tennessee series by Kay Stockham continues in His Son's Teacher.
Nick Tulane is worried that his young son's struggles in school will affect him late in life. He decides to get a tutor for the summer to help Matt catch up to his classmates. When he meets teacher Jennifer Rose she seems to be the answer to his prayers.
Jennifer Rose had big plans for her summer vacation. Her messy divorce and weight gain has her reeling. On a dare by a friend she offers her tutoring services to Nick in exchange for a trainer at Nick's gym. Once she gets her self back in shape she plans on taking that long awaited vacation alone.
Jennifer is torn by watching Matt's struggle to do his reading assignments. Something isn't right and she searches for a solution. While she is working with Nick at the gym a deeper relationship develops between Nick and Jennifer.
Nick can't stop thinking about his son's teacher. He is terrified she will find out about his own struggles in school and once that happens will she stay around?
Kay Stockham has a way of writing that finds a way to your very soul. Her characters struggles are ones that every person has had some dealings with in life. Kay's books are tops on my list of books to buy and savor.
