I just purchased this book and started to read it. It is excellent! Right-away the book gave me a new perspective on the issue of "illegal" immigration. The book uses many examples - all of which are based on Geraldo's excellent reporting and journalism skills. I am going to read on and post any additional thoughts. I may not agree with all of Mr. Rivera's views and actions but I am happy to see that he has brought forth a topic that most people either ignore or brush off as if it did not affect them. All our families and ancestors fought to come on this soil and make a better life for their children. This is no different. The problem is, whether you outwardly admit it or not, our prejudices do not accept people that are not like us. We do not want them here. Many people do not realize how easy it is for some to enter this country legally and how difficult it is for others. It has nothing to do with their criminal history or with intention. It has all to do with how much money they have and how they "fit in". There are MANY hard working immigrants that are here trying to make a better life for their families and are hitting a brick wall. Whether you agree with or disagree with how the USA is handling our immigration policies, it is critical to read Mr. Rivera's book. We need to read it with an open mind and understand that there are two sides to every story and all voices must be heard before we cast blame. This book is a real eye opener. Geraldo will do anything for a 'buck'; but I will not waste one red cent reading his anti-American drivel! His personal life reads like the Enquirer...but his undying defense of illegal immigration borders on tyranny. As a Puerto Rican Immigrant (legal, I hope), he should kiss the ground that he walks on in the U.S.; but instead he advocates and supports the invasion of Mexico.
I would strongly recommend that, instead of wasting your money on Geraldo's trashy book...try "THE DEATH OF THE WEST", or other great books authored by Pat Buchanan...a great American! Citizens need to be informed of the ill effects of the Third World Invasion upon our culture and our economy.
Enforce the existing immmigration laws....and deport Geraldo!

This is just another attempt to make US citizens look like the bad guy. It is a whiny attempt to make Americans out to be the bad guy and the illegal invaders to be just poor people that are looking for work and a better life.They are also looking to rape, murder , kill, break every law on our books and dumb down America to their 3rd world level. the arrogance of these people and geraldo is amazing , Why is America letting this happen? Immigrants are people that follow the rules , do it right and are welcome, geraldo is speaking up for illegal foreign nationals that are coming over here with one thing in mind , to take , to rob, to pillage , They hate America and unless we fix this problem , we will no longer be a country.Do not fall for his tripe.Book Review: His Panderer

His Panic? Geraldo, once again, proves he is a 'His Panderer' and moronic invader advocate for open borders and non-enforcement of our immigration laws. Mr. Si Se Puede is the guy that said he wanted to spit in Michelle Malkin's face because she advocated for immigration law enforcement. Yep, he's the same one that advocated FOR the MS-13 NJ assassins of the three (a fourth severly injured) black children in Newark. He gets infuriated with those that want tough drunk driving laws because drinking and driving is a Hispanic 'cultural' thing and tough laws are somehow racial profiling. Your OK with Geraldo if your Hispanic, an invader and succeeding in America by continuation of your criminal activity by operating, working, and remaing illegally here. According to Geraldo, the Hispanic "race" should assume its rightful and inevitable place as the dominant group in America and we should embrace them, illegals and all.
What a guy. Any "race" should be proud to have him as an advocate and spokesman.
