What would you do to save a life of someone you barely knew? Would you do everything you can, or walk away?
What does young love look like?
What do you do when, no matter what, you have to let that love go?
What do you do when, death is staring someone right in the face?
These are the human questions asked by this book. The book is written from the perspective of Hiro Nakamura of the "heroes" TV series, endowed with powers over space and time. He traverses both out of devotion to his heroic journey. We all have watched a loved one pass and said "if only I had more time." The problem here is that even with all the time in the world, the world might die.
Would you save one life and lose the world? Which is more important? Or are they linked?
Some fans are a bit overcritical of this book. It is told from the perspective of a young naive 24 year old exploring America with wide eyes and ethusiasm. His journey is not straightforward and it shouldn't be.
This book was well worth the time. It's not all dark and creepy, but there is a message here. Sometimes evil cannot be stopped and wins a battle in the war.
