Book Review: Hilarious stories about life, the SCA, and everything

The author, as a former king in the Society for Creative Anachronism, presents a unique look into what makes the SCA, the SCA.
The book is divided into a number of sections that don't carry on from one to the next - it's possible to flip from chapter 1 to chapter 12 to chapter 6 and not be lost. This makes it a great travel or coffee table book, since reading a section only takes a few minutes.
All of the stories are enjoyable. Most are hilarious. A few are even thought-provoking and heartwarming, like Sir Guillaume's story of how he couldn't let down a teenaged niece.
Whether you're a long time member of the SCA, a newcomer to the Game, or even just someone who randomly tripped over this book, you really need to pick it up and read it. Great writing, great stories, and a small portion of great advice make this an amazing find!
