From the supplier: A transcript of an interview of Ernest Hemingway by the Inspector General of the American 3rd Army reveals Hemingway's response to charges he violated his duties as a war correspondent in August 1944, prior to the liberation of Paris, France. Hemingway was asked whether he was unduly armed and whether he concealed his war correspondent insignia. Hemingway finessed answers to conceal the truth, but army officials would have been publicly rebuked had they punished Hemingway.
