I picked this book up after reading Sexcapades. Which was past HOTTTT. I have read other works from Ms Morrison and she didn't disappoint with this one. Im rushing to the store to get the next installment Somebody's Gotta Be On Top, which means I am about 3 books behind. If you have never read any of her works please run as fast as you to can. The first installment starts with Soul Mates Dissapate. He's Just a Friend is a story intertwined with love,lust,greed and passion. It's the book that keeps on giving page after page. You'll hate Fancy Taylor but in the end, end up understanding why she is the B*&^% she is portraying. Her friend SaVoy is a woman every woman needs in their life. She is there for you through thick and thin and knows when to tell you no, and you still love her just the same. Desmond is a fool for love and in love with Fancy and everyone around him can see the light BUT him, But he eventually finds his way home...Tyronne is just like most african american men when they are young. Young Dumb and Full of C**. But he tones it down and thank goodness he sees the light himself in SaVoy.
