Book Review: FANTASTIC COLLECTION OF PHOTO'S

I have never read a book about a band before now. I was blown away by all the pictures that were in this book. Very nice and an enjoyable read about Dimebag from the start. From the first time he picked up a guitar and asked his dad to teach him how to play to the tragic night that we all lost a living legend, the photo's are there. I haven't watched the DVD yet, but I expect it is chock full of Dime's crazy antics when not mesmerizing and blowing crazy fans away with his licks!! He was such a musicians musician, and I really enjoyed getting a glimpse of the man behind the Rock Star.Book Review: Dimebag

Awesome book with pictures about the life and times of one of the greatest shred guitarist ever Dimebag Darrell. After reading through this book I got a better idea of who the Metal God was in his life, a fun loving down to earth guy who would do anything for anybody who was in need.The world needs more Dimebags in it. He will be truley missed. One of a kind. the dvd that comes with this book really opens you up to dimes world on what he was all about. R.I.P Dimebag you are so missed. Great coffee table book with tons of early, never-before-seen photos of the legend. Dime & Vinnie started Pantera in their early teens and it was a long way to the top of their 90s heyday. Yes, it's not the definitive bio (Vinnie's working on that) but ignore the haters down below - it is a total bargain as the book also comes with an expanded DimeVision DVD (like Jackass meets the Pantera home movies with twice the explosions - no censoring Darrell there for sure!)

This was a gift for my new son-in-law. He was wanting this item as soon as it came out. He followed the life of the groups leader and wanted to read his life history written by his family. the DVD is a bonus and he really enjoyed the package. reasonable priced, and in time for gift giving.Book Review: Great Book!

I didn't know what to expect when I got it - I thought it was just an autobiography of Dime but to my surprise it was filled with beautiful pictures and showed Dime as he really was...down to earth and a wonderful human being! All metalheads should own this!
