Book Reviews of Harry Potter Paperback Box Set (Books 1-6)

Book Review: J.K. Rowling is the writer of the century.
Summary: 5 Stars

Being an aspiring writer, I can appreciate the potential of a good imagination and an excellent ability to put thoughts into words. J.K. Rowling not only created an entire world in her own mind, she was able to project that world in an interesting, entertaining way to her millions of readers. Harry Potter is the quintessential hero who will appeal to adults as well as young children as he battles his way through a magical world of evil villains and befriends a host of unique and colorful characters. Give these books to the most unenthusiastic readers and you are guaranteed to create faithful Potter fans.

Book Review: wonderful box set!
Summary: 5 Stars

This set was a birthday gift purchased for me by my sister, and I love it to pieces. It is my first collection of Harry Potter books (the 7th is on preorder here at Amazon) While I myself love the sturdiness of hardcover books, the price of the hardcover set is outrageous for a student like me who is proud when I have 15 dollars in my bank account. This paperback set is a cheaper, but still lovely alternative. I've worn out the spines from reading the books so much, but they've held up...maybe someone came along and cast a strengthing spell on them, haha, sorry, it fit in the moment.

Book Review: What A Read!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am a young adult of 54 years and I think that each age group will get just what they should from these delightful books. We watch Harry, an orphan who lives in horrible conditions with relatives who hate him, grow into a young wizard with remarkable powers and the same problems and growing pains that we all have to go through. He is a 'jock' at Quidditch and a true and faithful friend to Ron and Hermione. At the Hogwart's School he learns what it is like to soar on a broom and how it feels to fight powers beyond what you think you can endure.I reccomend these books to young adults of all ages.

Book Review: perfect gift for the harry potter latecomer
Summary: 5 Stars

i recently received this box set from my best friend when she was so shocked that i hadn't read any of the books. while the diehard fan probably pre-orders the new book to ensure arrival on its release date, the box set is perfect for those who are later to the harry potter craze. they're all paperback, which makes them less bulky, and because they come in a box, you can store them all together. and as someone who thought the harry potter series was childish when it first came out, now that i've read them all (minus the 7th book), it's definitely something that can be enjoyed by all ages

Book Review: Get them, read them, love them
Summary: 5 Stars

Great series, great characters, great writing. The story is engrossing, the characters are flawed and human, which makes them lovable and the magic is real. I wasn't really interested in reading these. I had already seen the first four movies and didn't have any desire to read the books. My mother got me to read the first one and I found I couldn't put it down. I immediately ordered this set and read through the books in a couple of months. I love them! The books are much better than the movies and I recommend them to anyone who loves good fiction, adults & children alike.
