Book Reviews of Harry Potter Paperback Box Set (Books 1-6)Book Review: The whole series.... Summary: 5 Stars
This series is an amazing series, one of the best, although i do have another series which i think is the best, It is not because these books arent as good, becasue they are perfect for all ages. MY favorite book series is about what intrests me most. I hope that makes since. This is a great story. It never gets old. For me, i have it in audio, and well im addicted. Like some people listen to music while working on something, i listen to harry potter. LOL. Not that i do that for all books. I can do that because i know the story so well. If it was a new audio book to me i would have to give it all of my attention. HP is like a great song that sticks in you head. I can easliy focus on what im doing, without needing to give the story much attention and still follow along. I'm not suggesting that you do this, but it improves my vocabulary, reading speed, etc. Harry Potter are great books. These are 5th grade books, which that does help toward me not needing to give it much attention. I simply think it is a must see and own.

Book Review: Harry Potter--literary excellence wrapped in fantasic fiction Summary: 5 Stars
As a daughter of an English professor who also majored in Children's Literature, I was raised to recognize excellence in literature. As a Communication major I studies excellence in speech and writing. As an avid reader I have read thousands of books--fiction and non fiction alike. Harry Potter is the rarest of literary fiction--a book with a fantastic storyline wrapped up in excellent grammatical structure. The characters are well thought out and their storylines developed satisfactorily. The continuity is impressive. I have yet to discover any continuity issues. Rarely has a writer been "trans-generational"--able to capture the hearts (and ultimately pocketbooks) of several generations; from pre-teens to post-baby boomers. J.K. Rowling has done just that and has managed to entertain the young'uns and fascinate us old'uns! My hat is off to her. She has worked hard and deserves every accolade. I thank her for these years of such intense enjoyment, anticipation, delight and literary satisfaction.
Book Review: An Awesome Journey to be taken! Summary: 5 Stars
I came to the Harry Potter Saga a little later than everyone else I guess. About the time that the fourth book was coming out, and they were making the first Movie, I decided to read them and see what all the buzz was about. I have to say that I was completely hooked, from page one. Rowling's tale was a magical journey to be sure. I absolutely loved it, found it thrilling, and transcendental! I quickly absorbed all four of the first books, and then eagerly awaited each book to be released after that. I loved the concept of the witching community living right amid everyone else, and also hidden, living and acting upon things regular people couldn't even see. At the core the story is of course Good versus Evil, and about the younger characters learning, without being told what the right choice is, exactly, so that when the time comes, they can make the choice ultimately that is the best choice for them to make, and learn from success, or failure, and to grow from it. Wholly brilliant~!
Book Review: Harry Potter's # 1 fan Summary: 5 Stars
I own all of the Harry Potter hard cover books and now also have the soft cover. silly right? not for me, I have read those books at least 3-4 each. I have all the DVD's and also the talking books. I am, I hate to say it, but I am I guess they would call me elderly, arrrgh! But I love those pbooks and I think that the author did a fantastic job and I am waiting for my grandson and daughter to be a little oldcr so that hopefully they can enjoy them as much as I do. Of course I am an avid reader. Just to show you how mch I love Harry Potter, we live in Lake chapala Mexico. the set of paperbacks cost $39.95, I paid a lot extra to get quick delivery and wouldnt you know it, I was charged 530 pesos, thats about $53 dollars USD, in addition to the original cost for customs fees, but it was worth it for me. Stupid huh? I thik that these books should be read in sequence, so that you know the people and the events when they are discusssed in the new books. cant wait for the last one.
