Book Review: Beautifully laid out book

I bought this book for Halloween decoration ideas and this book didn't fail to disappoint. Unfortunately being an apartment-dweller, this book is geared towards people lucky enough to have a nice, big old house in New England with requisite front porch, etc. The food section provides some great ideas that go beyond candy corn and Dum-Dums, that anyone can try. It was fun just looking through the book. For those that go all out for Halloween, this is something that would be a welcome addition to their holiday deco library.Book Review: Great book

This was a good book, I had planned on using it last year but didnt have to much time but I definitley will be using it this year! Halloween is my favorite holiday i take it pretty seriously. Remeber its says the best of martha stewart living, so that means that its ideas that have already been published in her magazines. I would reccomend also The big book of halloween, if you are looking for other books. Hope you all have a Happy Halloween 2002!Book Review: If You Have The Time...

Excellent ideas for Halloween decorating and parties....if you have the time. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time on my hands so I wasn't able to use the book for this past Halloween (2006). Hopefully, I'll have more time next year, or I'll start preparing ahead of time. The ideas are clever and original and I'd like to use them. The book is of great quality, thick paper. I really enjoy the book, seeing that I missed out on the special edition of the magazine last year. I love the photography and the ease of directions and instructional photos(the little dracula kid still weirds me out though) I have spent a year online looking for tasteful but creepy "organic" Halloween ideas. If you are a collector of Martha's Halloween Holiday Magazines then this book is just a compilation of all her awesome ideas over the years from those particular magazines. But as far as being all about Halloween decorating, this book is pretty much the best one I can think of. The photography and layout of the book is really good and constantly inspires me to get new ideas every time I read it.
