Book Reviews of Guitar Fretboard Workbook

Book Review: Intuitive Instructional Workbook
Summary: 5 Stars

MI's Guitar Fretboard Workbook, written by: Barrett Tagliarino is the second workbook I have studied out of. I immediately noticed how the pictures and diagrams were so intuitive. It took a lot less effort to memorize the concepts simply because they made much more sense. Tagliarino removed the mystery, and immediately made it easy for me to grasp, and memorize the five root shapes with his diagram in the workbook. Ultimately this is why I bought a workbook like this in the first place. Great job, Barrett!

I do not know this author. Just really like his book.

Book Review: A Welcome Change
Summary: 5 Stars

Although I am still progressing through this book as I write this review, I believe it is very fair to state that this book is one of the most practical and beneficial any guitarist can use to enrich their mentallity and fluency with the instrument. Its not some magic dust that will grant great chops and accuracy. That takes raw practice; however this book just makes that journey much easier. The material of this workbook just explains the fundamentals in a fundamental way. With over 6 years of experience, I find certain lessons in this book to be very revitalizing and quite engaging.

Book Review: This is a great book!
Summary: 5 Stars

I got my first guitar only about six months ago. In the time I've had it, I've bought more guitar books than I should have. But I've learned more from this one book than from all the other books combined. I think Barrett Tagliarino is not only a great guitarist; he's also a great teacher. I find that just from reading this book and working the exercises in it, I understand a lot more about the fretboard and what I'm doing when I play than a lot of people who have been studying much longer. I plan to buy and work my way through every book Barrett Tagliarino has written.

Book Review: Very good book!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am an intermediate level guitarist, and I think that the book is very good. It's not a normal "technique" book, but instead the author focus in learning the complete fretboard/scales/modes/chords by doing mental and paper homework. The explanation is very good and concise, and gradualy as you progress more things you have to do. It is a different aproach to conventional learning, but for me it has faster results.
If you want to learn the fretboard quickly and know how to build scales/chords and modes on the fly, I recommend this book!

Book Review: I wish I found this book 8 years ago!
Summary: 5 Stars

I wish I found this liine of books 8 years ago...I would have been able to progress at a much faster rate with more understanding. I bought this book a couple weeks ago and began studying it immediatly. The method the author uses is very effective, whcih he calls draw/describe/play. using this method, he illustrates patterns that show where all the notes are, allowing for a more easier method of learning the notes and understanding the fretboard.

if you are a beginning guitar player, get this book, it is essential
