Book Review: hard for the characters to sign

I bought 2 of these books for my sons for our trip to WDW last Feb. I loved the layout - I like having one page for autographs and the other for pictures. I also liked that we could write in where we saw the character at and any special notes. We saw Mickey several times and were able to write in where we were for each autograph. We could also add in special memories like "John's 1st birthday dinner" or "Ryan and Dale played peek-a-boo with John". I also like that it was spiral bound so it was easy to flip to the next page without having to hold the book open.
What I didn't like is the book has a soft cover, which means no support for the characters. Most of the time the characters are holding the book while they sign. They don't usually have a hard surface to lean on. this made it very difficult for some characters to sign. I'd give it 5 stars if it had a hard cover and maybe a little more kid friendly design (character pics on the cover and pages, etc.)
