Book Reviews of Guess How Much I Love YouBook Review: A must for all new Fathers of sons! Summary: 5 Stars
As a new father, aside from Kipling's poem "If", I have yet to run across another work of literature that can so strongly convey my feelings for my new son. Every time I read this book, I am not simply reciting, I actually MEAN the words that I am saying! I have little doubt that I will be reading this book to my son for several years. To sum up; if you are a new father, this should be the first book you acquire to read to your infant.
Book Review: Best bedtime book available for toddlers. Summary: 5 Stars
This book is a wonderful, soothing story about a parent's love for their child. In this case it happens to be rabbits, but it gives gentle, loving words to parents to read to their children.Every child needs to hear "I love you," from their parent(s) and this book provides a delightful way to do that.We read this book each night just before lights out. My 19 month old daughter said,"Mama love Sarah," after reading this book.
Book Review: Brings Tears to the Eyes... Summary: 5 Stars
...okay, well not everyone is as emotional as I am, but this was definitely one of those books that made you go "aaaawww" when you read it. I first read it before my son was born, and bought it immediately (the extra large version). We've also purchased this smaller one so that we've been able to read it to our son (who's now almost two). It seems to really define the love that one has for their children...more love than you can ever describe.
Book Review: Love It! Summary: 5 Stars
We have read this to our son since he was first born . . . he is now almost four . . . we read it to him and his baby brother on a regular basis and they love to hear and read along with us.
More importantly, when I kiss my son and ask him how much I love him, he tells me, "All the way to the moon, and back" and he knows that is a long, long way indeed. Something we will say forever, from a simple story. A treasure. Enjoy!
Book Review: An Ageless Story Book Summary: 5 Stars
My 22 year old daughter gave me this book for Mothers Day 2000. Of all the gifts I received, this book touched my heart above all. I look forward to the day I can share this book with my grandchildren (I don't have any yet), but until then I will share the book with my children. This book is ageless just like the love between a mother and child. Every parent should share this book with their child or visa versa as in my case.
