When I'm looking for a 'do it yourself' book, I'm looking for something that's easy to read and that I can breeze through while on a bus ride or at home instead of watching television. So when looking for a present for a friend (who's a bit of a marijuana connesoiur), I showed him this book and he lit up, letting me know that it was one of the best out there. Which was a bit of a bummer because I wanted to buy it for him, but good for me because I was always interested on how viable it could be to grow it indoors, especially in random climates here in the U.S.
It gives you a great detailed yet never confusing rundown on how to make a room devoted to cultivating the plants and it's not even necessarily written with potheads in mind. It's more like if you were a car junkie and wanted to know everything you could about cars, you'd even learn the inside and out of every aspect of the production of a car. Same goes for a gardener or someone like myself, who loves to learn new things and see how he can use this newfound knowledge in a practical way. Logan Edwards gives a great account on the dos and don'ts of growing the green plant and how easy it can be if you just take the time, get the right equipment and then grow the stuff. And what's great is it's easily broken down into simple chapters, from how marijuana grows in general to how to get rid of pests and random problems that might occur when your plant is growing, such as mold and how to prevent or get rid of these problems.
I learned a ton of stuff, like a marijuana plant starts off male, becomes female and then is usually hermaphroditic, which then had me repeating this newfound knowledge to friends of mine. They didn't know that either... well, except for the friend who was originally the one to get this book. It's got tons of these facts throughout, which makes it a great book to just drop on a random page and finding out about transplanting a clone plant or the types of lighting systems you should look into in order to get the best plants to grow for you.
A very informative book about the growing and harvesting of marijuana. I never knew it could be so easy, but then again I wouldn't have known the first place to start if it wasn't for this easy to read book with tons of science facts and pictures throughout to even make it easier to understand the process behind it.
A widely acclaimed book in the eyes of pot lovers/ growers everywhere, you should take the time out and buy the book to learn the ins and out of proper marijuana growing techniques. You definitely won't be disappointed.
