I'll keep it plain and simple: back a few years ago, I knew nothing about sausage making, I studied this book and I succeeded from the very first time. The only flaw I can point out is the lack of information about fermented sausages but, other than that, it's top notch.

We purchased this book to help us cure our own bacon. This is a great book, lots of recipes and ways of preparing meats and sauages.
It is good for a beginner like us. Just a really good book.
