Book Reviews of GracelingBook Review: It's everything in one Summary: 5 Stars
Graceling is a great book that earns 5 stars! It has plot, a hint of love, violence, death, life, and mostly a world that is like none other.
I know I liked Graceling for the romance(just a bit). It wasn't lovey-dovey or anything dramatic. It was a real love and that didn't take over the story.
The details in Gradeling was well described and the dialogue was written to grab the reader.
I highly recommend this book to ages 13 and up.
Book Review: An Addicting Read Summary: 5 Stars
Graceling is absolutely enchanting. Kristin Cashore has created a magical world with compelling characters on a fast-paced and surprising adventure. Readers get the opportunity to watch Katsa and Po grow and learn about themselves and each other as they race to save the seven kingdoms.
This is one of those books that will make you wish you had Katsa's Grace to stay up all night to consume Graceling from cover to cover, wishing for more the whole time.
Book Review: Brilliant Novel! Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the most beautifully written novels I've read in a long time. The characters are well developed, and their relationships with each other are meaningful. This book reminded me of Twilight in that once I picked it up, I didn't want to put it down, and if I did have to put it down for a while, I couldn't stop thinking about it. There is also something else about it that reminds me of Twilight, but I won't ruin the surprise. I wish this book never had to end!
Book Review: FAntastic book, I could not put it down! Summary: 5 Stars
THis book is full of fantastic characters and a great strong storyline.
I author has really pulled all the elements of this book together and weaved a breathtaking tail for Kasta and her friends.
I think one of my favorite parts of the book was Kasta finding so many great, nice people around her that helped her grasp her own humanity and control over her life, with a little help from the Graceling with the gold and silver eyes!
Book Review: couldn't put it down Summary: 5 Stars
I have 2 kids and a home to take care of, all of which went semi-neglected for 4 days while I read this beautiful book. Although it is intended for young adults, I don't know a lover of fine writing who would not enjoy this book. The description of the world Kristin Cashore has created is fascinating. The characters are very likable. The love story is believable and tender. I can't wait to read Fire! Hopefully many more will follow.
