Book Reviews of Grace After Midnight: A MemoirBook Review: Her story... Summary: 5 Stars
is simply amazing. I think the memoir was a great read! It's like she is just having a regular conversation. Basically in drawn out details about how she was raised, how she was on the streets, how close she was to her foster parents and her mentors, her time in prison, and what happened after her release.
From her stories from the streets, to the ladies stories in "Grandmas House" this book definitely is a must read.
Book Review: GREAT BOOK! Summary: 5 Stars
The delivery was fast and easy. I received the book about 2 days after I ordered it. Grace After Midnight is a great book for people who are great fans of Felicia "Snoop" Pearson and to any person going through hard times in their life. I wish the chapters were a little longer but other than that Snoop did a good job for her first book. I couldn't wait for the re release of the book on Nov 13. lol Thanks Amazon!!
Book Review: She did the best job she could with the hand she was dealt. Summary: 5 Stars
A painfully honest but depressing look at what it is like to grow up under the worst conditions. The slum didn't grind her up but, until the wire, she caused grief for society. Help, to her, came from unexpected places and a wonderful set of foster parents. It is a story that we, who grew up in kindness and a clean environment filled with good role models, should read.
Book Review: Tracey's point of view Summary: 5 Stars
I enjoyed this book. I seen Felicia on The Wire before I knew she had a book out. She is a good actress. I thought it was amazing for her to actually get a part in a movie that pertain to her real life situation. I want to wish her the best and I look forward to seeing her in other movies since The Wire has been cancelled.
Book Review: Remarkable! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is about a street tough girl who went through so much and now is on a HBO TV series. It's a remarkable story, told like she is talking to you one-on-one. Read it in three days--hard to put down.
