I was wondering why we needed a book for dance lessons in addition to the DVD. Now I do. There is so much subtleness in Tango. All the explanations would slow down the viewing if they put the information in the DVD. The book and the DVD help me understand Tango so much and the lessons are presented in the ways that are easy to follow. It is also great value too. I also bought another Tango DVD. This is the one I watch frequently and don't watch the other one at all.Book Review: Gotta Tango

An excellent instructional DVD. The DVD shows dance steps from clear angles that give a view of the entire body and feet. The teachers demonstrate proper body alignment and sequential foot steps in an easy to understand and easy to see manner. The lessons are divided into segments for easy review and rewinding.
The book provides a good history of the tango and culture of Argentina. It also gives verbal instructions for the tango.
