Book Reviews of Gotrek & Felix: The First Omnibus (Gotrek & Felix Novels)Book Review: Warhammer Fantasy Flagship Summary: 5 Stars
I became hooked on these two characters very quickly. The First two books in this omnibus are in episodic/short story form which makes for a very snappy read. Everything in here is a joy, from a reading point of view this is candy. You do not need any knowledge of Warhammer to read these books. This is not some Robert Jordan/Terry Goodkind epic trudge, but good fast moving action. There are six more novels after this, with the next three collected in the second omnibus. A third omnibus is on the way before the end of 2009. After the 7th novel the series switches writers from 'William King' to 'Nathan Long', who also wrote the enjoyable 'Blackhearts' Warhammer series. I have alot of respect for a novelist who can get away with using the word 'Farsqueaker'
Book Review: A classic, immersive storyline Summary: 5 Stars
Gotrek & Felix: The First Omnibus (Warhammer)
This series is absolutely fantastic. For any fans out there who want to dive deep into the world of Warhammer via a funny, entertaining and immersive storyline, this is the series to get. Each book focuses on a different plot, but they all interweave perfectly. The characters are rich and the tale of their adventures are descriptive and fascinating. You get a taste of what it's like to live in the Warhammer world, and get exposed to epic tales of battles and lustful encounters. It's a must buy for anyone who wants to get into the Warhammer series!
Book Review: Great Series Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fantastic introduction into fantasy literature. Gotrek and Felix provide wonderful guides into a land filled with ratmen, mutants, and heretics. Games Workshop, the creators of Warhammer, have established a rich world for this story to take place in and William King does a great job of telling the stories. The stories are full of adventure, interesting plot twists, and some humorous moments. Gotrek and Felix have certainly become some of my favorite characters in fantasy. Also for the price, one cant go wrong with this omnibus.

Pair a bargain price tag with a Warhammer omnibus of fantasy action gathering the flagship series under one cover and you have a fine pick for any serious fantasy collection. All three of the classics - TROLLSLAYER, SKAVENSLAYER and DAEMONSLAYER are included to provide a smooth, seamless introduction to a fast-paced, war-torn world which has since spawned a host of popular adventures.

Book Review: Excellent Book Summary: 5 Stars
I was always interested in the trollslayers of the Warhammer world, and this book is an excellent look at what they are. The first book is more like a series of short stories, but the second starts to develop more like the traditional chapter book. William King is an excellent writer, and his stories will draw you in and make you thirst for more. Even for those who aren't familiar with the Warhammer world, this is an excellent buy.
