Book Reviews of Goodnight Opus

Book Review: Our FAVORITE bedtime story so far!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am a long time Opus fan. I saw this book and thumbed through it and then read it from cover to cover! Our two and a half year old son BEGS for his Opus book every night before bed. He loves the rhymes and even says the words along with us. A wonderfully amusing story that is fun for adults as well as children to read. A MUST for any bedtime collection!

Book Review: My daughter loves this book and so do I
Summary: 5 Stars

From the illistrations to the text this is one of the best childrens books I have ever read to my daughter (2 1/2 years old). She enjoys looking at the picture and pointing things out to me and with the high quality illistrations there is always something for her to point out on every page. It also teaches an excelent lesson in imagination.

Book Review: Goodnight Opus
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband purchased this book before our son was born in 2001, now 20 months later, we know it by heart and need to buy a replacement copy because we have it so worn. Berkeley Breathed is outstanding in imagination and entertainment. We have all of his books to date, absolutely love them all but Goodnight Opus is our favorite.

Book Review: My Favorite Bedtime Story to Read to my Children!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is my children's fav. One of my daughter's first words was "Opus" (requesting this book night after night). To be honest it's still amusing to me after reading it 210 times. This book also helps me remember that life does not have to be "by the book".Thank you Berkeley Breathed.

Book Review: Children's Books Aren't Just for Children Anymore
Summary: 5 Stars

Even though I'm pushing the ripe age of 24 this book has been one of my favorites since its emergence, four years ago. And it can teach down-to-earth adults a thing or two about the flexibility of interpretation for any written work or boring old viewpoint. Namely, "Departing the Text!"
