Book Review: Positively wonderful!

The first book was an absolute delight, and I was absolutely DYING for the second one. This was another really hilarious, really wise take on life from Jill Conner Browne. If you haven't picked up a Sweet Potato Queens book yet, you need to do yourself a favor and buy one because they just put a spring in your step like nothing else (except maybe a day at the beach with a gallon of frozen custard). I laughed so hard tears rolled down my face and my husband thought I'd lost my mind.Book Review: Read it, Love it, Live it!!!!!

Oh yes, God has blessed the Sweet Potato Queens and has blessed us with this book. Laughter through tears was a favored emotion in another Southern favorite, Steel Magnolias, and you will get plenty of it here! If being regaled by tales of slighty naughty escapades are your cup of tea, you will love this book as much as I do. TRY THE RECIPES, they are great!! Where else can you find a book that is a spiritual guide, a style manual and gives you "smack ya' mama" good recipes?!!Book Review: Read it, Love it, Live it!!!!!

This is another hysterical romp with the Queens. It's inspiring, shocking, educational and above all enjoyable. Beware before you start this book--the laundry won't get done, your family won't eat--you'll simply want to loll about with the Queens and share in their glorious adventures and revel in their spot-on advice. Thank you Ms. Browne for introducing me to a whole new world filled with unforgettable characters. I loved this book and give it 5 tiaras!
