Although fiction, this book, as well as others in this series, follows the predictions in the Bible. It is a very feasible scenario of what is to come. I greatly enjoyed reading the whole series. I am an avid reader, reading up to eight hours a day. When I start a good book I can rarely put it down before finishing it. I certainly recommend this whole series to everyone, religious or not! Glorious Appearing is well written and captured my attention from the first page. I could hardly put the book down until I had read the entire book. The authors capture the attention of the reader immediately. I believe all the books they have written are true to scripture and help us realize what the future holds. The Left Behind series is an amazing teaching tool that can be used to teach any layman the Book of Revelation. I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in getting a lay-man's version (a jaw dropping, action pact, totally entertaining version) of the Book of Revelation. This is my favorite book of the Left Behind Series. I have read it five times, and listened to the Dramatic Audio version at least 25 times. Tim LaHaye is a wonderful writer. He weaves a tapestry of intrigue blending fiction, what may happen, with the promises of God with ample Scriptural references. Very uplifting work.
