Book Review: 2ND BEST BOOK - AFTER THE HOLY BIBLE !

i spent the entire summer of 2006 starting in about may thru till november reading the left behind series in its entirety from the rapture book onwards. (i already read the rising and regime previously).
i finished glorious appearing on november 18th. i read other reviews on this book saying bad things about it and i have come to 2 conclusions:
A. the people that gave bad reviews ARE NOT BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS but unbelievers who have no spiritual clue as to what the book is all about -
thus their erroneous reviews on the book !
B. the bad reviewers are born again Christians but they cant accept the fact that Jesus will return again to the earth and sentence to hell all those who take the mark of the beast (antichrist) !
these type of Christians want to believe in a jesus that fits their mentality - however it is not the Jesus of the bible - THE TRUE AND COMING KING!
having said all that. let me tell you i was so blessed by God reading the whole left behind series during the summer. if you ever want to understand the book of revelation,reading the series is one of the best ways to do that. the authors have done a fantastic job weaving futureevents and a storyline together. dont believe all the bad reviews!
those bad reviewers couldnt find a good Christian book even if i gave them a flashlight!
this book predicts what will happen in the battle of armaggedon - the antichrist and devil lose! and Jesus and his army wins! to win - one must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior , and NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST - IN THE NEAR AND/OR FAR FUTURE! that is the whole premise of the book - which side will you choose? will you be a winner or a loser?

Book Review: THE KING HAS RETURNED!

With "Glorious Appearing," Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins bring their "Left Behind" series to an end. And the wait turned out to be worthwhile. For those who felt that the series had little emotional impact, you will find this to not only be the most emotionally-charged book in the series, but the most emotionally-stirring novel, period. The scenes of Christ's return are beautifully written, and you feel like Jesus is with you as you read this book. The characters are fully developed, and each experience they have will touch you like no other book except for the Bible ever has. "Glorious Appearing" is a masterpiece of the written language; an exciting and emotional look at the end of days. Fans will not be disappointed. Grade: A+
P.S. Although this is the end of this series of books, Lahaye and Jenkins do have a prequel and sequel novel in the works. I look forward to these with great anticipation!
Book Review: Amazing!

I have never read a book or seen a movie that could avoid an What If or a What Happens Now mindset. I read this book, I love this book and the entire series. At the end of the book every question I had was answered, what happens to everyone? What happens 'after'? Everything.
I finished reading the book, talked to my pastor who explained that yes it's all a fictional story, who wouldn't know that but it's based on the bible and explains to people like me that would need a lay-man type of answer to my questions of what is going to happen. The series helped me to have no worries about my future, how the end of the world will come and how things could be after Armageddon.
I've suggested the series to everyone that I know. Fantastic read.

I have to tell you that reading this well written book about the end of time, when Christ will return and rule on this earth, was a blessing to me. I have read and learned about "The Last Days" often but this book, with all of it's Scripture reference, helped me to better understand what life will probably be like.
Others have cricized the book because of all the Scripture...but think about it...The Scriptures are what God has given us to learn from. I believe the authors have done a great job combining fiction and fact! The entire series is a "must read". Thank you

I read the entire series, all 16 books in 3 months. Finishing one only to hurry and get to the next. They are that amazing! Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins have so beautifully illustrated the truth of the Book of Revelations through fictional characters and backed it all up with scripture. This particular book The Glorious Appearing leaves you with a visual understanding and longing for Christ's return. I cannot recommend it enough!! This book, this series will change your life!
