Book Reviews of Giraffes Can't DanceBook Review: With rollicking rhymes and whimsical drawings Summary: 5 Stars
Gerald the Giraffe wants to be a dancer, but his neck's too long and his legs too skinny. He's ready to give up his dream until a little cricket teaches him how to adapt his goals to reality without losing them. Rollicking rhymes and whimsical drawings make for an inviting tale.
Book Review: Beautiful Book , great story! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for my 18 month old son and I love it. The pictures are beautiful and it is a great story with a nice message. The story is a little long for his attention span right now but he loves looking at the pictures. It is one of our favorites!
Book Review: Find your own music and dance! Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter and I love this book! A very sweet story about Gerald the Giraffe who is clumsy and can't dance until he finds his own music. A wonderful story about being unique and finding your own "music". Nice rhyming story and beautiful illustrations.
Book Review: Marvelous book! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is a very lyrical, very touching story of a giraffe who feels out of place and out of step with the other jungle animals. The rhyming is fantastic, and it isn't sappy. My children love it, and I love reading it out loud. It's just marvelous.
Book Review: AMAZING! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is a wonderful story about how each of us has a place in this world and a unique way of living into that place, IF we can only find the right music to live by (or dance by in Gerald's case)! Great for use with children AND with adults! Enjoy!
