A gifted hands by Dr. Benjamin Carson is an intelligent book for everyone. This book motivate teens to believe in themselves, deal with peer pressure and find their role in life. Carson is one of the two children of Sonya Carson and Mr. Carson. Carson Struggled from child hood to fit in, he was not the brightest kid in class but through perseverance, and studying, he found his way from Detroit to Harvard, and John Hopkins Teaching hospital as a neurosurgeon . Neurosurgery did not come easy for Carson but he overcame the trials and tribulation by praying and finding his role in life.Book Review: A Book of Inspiration

This is a book that speaks about the Michael Jordan of the medicine. Gifted hands, describes how Ben Carson had became into a winner. Ben Carson, who was the last one student on his 3rd year class, during the elementary school, became one of the most (or perhaps the most) successful neurosurgeon in the world. He also describes in his book, how the support of the people that surrounded hem and the help of God was essential to found out the way trough the success. I entirely recommend this book for people who are looking motivation in life.Book Review: An inspiration.

I read this book quickly and then I reread it. It inspired me at a time when I was finding it difficult to settle into a new life in the US having emigrated here. The way the author describes how he overcame his many seemingly overwhelming obstacles in order to achieve his dreams is quite phenomenal. I turn to this easy to read and interesting autobiobraphy often. It never fails to encourage me whether I am dealing with everyday life or the problems that inevitably crop up from time to time but always I find inspiration within its pages.Book Review: The Carsons, right on!

Great inspirational literature. Not too heavily spiritual and certainly gives credit where it is due-to a higher power and to mamma. This proves once again what we are all afraid to admit; that children who feel supported can be taught self-discipline. They can believe, become confident and move mountains for the less fortunate. The right attitude can come from an instilled desire to plant that "mustard seed" and reap it's bounty along with a leap of faith. The first time I heard about this book is when my father came into my room and told me about this guy named Ben Carson I didn't really care to read it. My dad said he saw him at a business function and that was the thing that really inspired me to read it. The book Gifted Hands is a re-telling of a young boy named Ben Carson and what difficulties he went through in his life and how he got through them and how he became one of the best Nuerosurgeons in the world. I recommend this book to anybody who is willing to read it enjoy.
