I love giving my friends and family cookbooks as their gifts...especially my newlywed and engaged friends, so that they can build their kitchen cookbook collections and enjoy great meals together. So I was thrilled when I got my copy of this great book and saw that it had so many fabulous dishes! Giada's collection of recipes is terrific, particularly the soups -- perfect for winter weather. I bought her first book since I really liked her show and her overall presentation. Then I tried a few recipes and these were simple and yet outstanding! Now we own this terrific book as well and there is a treasure of goodies inside. Try a few of them on your friends and they will rave! Giada is a gem in all manners of speaking.

Have made a purchase (s). Still awaiting for the recipe. Not a good cook. But learning. She said I'm getting better. Wow I love British women! Can't wait to see what she has to say! Great recipe book! Everything I've made from this cookbook has been delicious. The prep work can be time consuming for some of these recipes (lots of chopping fresh veggies) but the recipes are not difficult. There is a good variety of recipes too; salads, fish, pasta dishes, desserts.Book Review: Giada does it again

I am a huge fan of Giada's. This book is definitely my favorite of hers so far, in that the recipies are less intimidating, and in my opinion more appealing. She provides great ideas for entertaining and moves away from strictly Italian offerings. A wonderful and useful cookbook!
