Book Review: Very thorough and comprehensive study of the German language

Prior to buying this book I was very slowly learning German through the Rosetta Stone online with little success. After only completing four lessons with this book, I have grown and expanded my knowledge and am definitely clicking now. It has helped me understand the basic gramatical rules and pronouciations in a way that I was missing studying with my other course. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes to know the background of the language and the practical application of the knowledge through conversational speech.

Filled with dialogues, grammar and idiom studies, and practical exercises, this is probably the most delightful, useful, and comprehensive elementary book available for learning spoken and written German.
