Book Reviews of Genghis: Lords of the BowBook Review: Almost of the quality of Gates of Fire. Summary: 5 Stars
The author has done a wonderful job with this story. You will ride with the Great Khan and sack cities with him you will care about the members of his family, and learn distrust the evil Shaman (who come to think of it always manage to get cast in double-dealing roles.)
Overall-I did not want this book to end and plan to continue with this series. Its been great to see this author develop his Rome series was not anywhere near this caliber.
Book Review: Genghis Lords of the Bow Summary: 5 Stars
This is the 2nd book of this series that I have read. The author Conn Iggulden is a very good writer who makes you feel like Genghis Khan and his brothers are people you know and you are right there through all the action and anxiety they encounter. A wonderful historic novel.
I bought a used book and it was just like new, I' m not sure it had every been opened......a good bargin. Marlys Rausch
Book Review: Great Series Summary: 5 Stars
I'm not all that knowledgeable on Genghis's life so I can't say there are any historical glitches in the story but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am now reading the last book of the Genghis series and am enjoying it as well. The whole series is fast paced and gripping. I have also read Iggulden's Emperor series - another good read.
Book Review: the second as good as the first book Summary: 5 Stars
This the second book in a series of three is just as great as the first. I enjoyed reading this book very much and would recommend it to anyone who has the least of bit of curiosity about the subject.
Book Review: Couldn't put it down! Summary: 5 Stars
This three part saga about Ghengis Khan is facinating. I don't normally read this type of book, but it was fantastic! Not a boring page in the book! I highly recommend it!
