Book Reviews of Fulgrim (Warhammer 40,000 Novels: Horus Heresy)Book Review: This is a keeper... Summary: 4 Stars
This book does a great job of enlightening us on the nature of "Chaos". I thought that it showed how easily one might find themselves past the point of no return when exploring extreme self indulgence of any kind. There is a gothic carnival atmosphere that goes to the extreme. I'd say more, but I don't want to say too much! I hope the story continues. A must read for any Heresy series fan. The book goes to depths I didn't expect. Its much more than an "airplane" read.
Book Review: A nice addition to the series. Summary: 4 Stars
This was a very interesting read, as it fills in a lot of details about the title character. Unfortunately, it chronicles his change from a perfect warrior to a perfect villain. This made it a little hard to take, at least for me, since you get the feeling Fulgrim wanted stop the path he was on. The ending was good, but it felt like it took little effort to push the entire Legion into Chaos.
Book Review: A nice look into the Emporers Children Summary: 4 Stars
This was prob my least favorite book in the Horus Hersey so far, but saying that it was still very enjoyable. A good edition to the Hersey, and probably the most indepth in the way of character development.
For some reason i just didn't get hooked as much as the others.
4 stars!
Book Review: Excellent Read! Summary: 4 Stars
A very colorful story that adds a lot of depth and emotion to the betrayal of the Emperor's Children. A very worthy addition to the Horus Heresy series that beautifully illustrates the corruption of Slaanesh. Recommended for any Chaos Space Marines player or fan of Warhammer 40K lore.
Book Review: Fulgrim Summary: 4 Stars
Harsh, uncompromising look at a man-god's descent into evil. A vision of art and war as avenues to destruction. Truly brutal.
