Book Reviews of Fulgrim (Warhammer 40,000 Novels: Horus Heresy)

Book Review: Fulgrim A Must Read
Summary: 5 Stars

If you liked the first 4 Horus Heresy books then this one is a must read. Perfection comes with the ultimate price in this 5th book. This is not an uplifting story and if you are a passionete reader of this series it might bring you down so drink alot of coffee. The only issues I had were how powerful the main character was in everything he did. Horus wasn't portrayed the same and Horus is the Warmaster so Mr. McNeill could have toned Fulgrim down a bit. Otherwise a great story which makes you need to read the next book. Maybe Chaos has something to do with needing to continue the Heresy storyline because thats all I wanted to do after finishing Fulgrim.

Book Review: Great Book, Go buy it if you've read the rest of the series!
Summary: 5 Stars

I liked this book and thought it was a great read. It shows a side of events that I hadn't really even thought about before. It seems written for one who knows more about the 40K background than is in the series. If you don't you may not understand the significance of some events. But if you do, you'll find this book as enjoyable as I did. There were some parts that brought the word "gross" to mind. This book was definately written with adults as the target audience. Read the series in order and when you get to this book you won't be dissapointed.

Book Review: Fulgrim
Summary: 5 Stars

I really enjoyed this book. It continues the Horus Heresy series and develops the back story of Fulgrim and the Emperor's Children. This book is very well written and draws you into the fall of Fulgrim to treachery and corruption. Graham McNeil does a great job at weaving the Emperor's Children story lines from the previous novels into this one. He has a lot of action and very vivid scenes. This is a very good book. I am looking forward to the next chapter in the Horus Heresy series.

Book Review: Great read. Heartbreaking, infuriating and intoxicating.
Summary: 5 Stars

I've read almost all of the Horus Heresy and this book was one of my top favorites so far. The story was good. I've never been a huge fan of The Emperor's Children... but after reading this I do have a few new thoughts, a bit more empathy and a bit of sadness for the chapter.

Book Review: Really amazing! Best of HH series!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was easily the best written one of the whole Horus Heresy series. I was impressed and pleased with the depth as well as the fact that we see a lot of Primarch interaction. Really a good read for fans of action and character development.
