Book Reviews of Fool Moon (The Dresden Files, Book 2)Book Review: The most exciting book I have read in decades! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the most exciting book I have read in decades. I am now trying Laurell Hamilton's Anita Blake series and it is great; and I have always loved the Angel vampire detective series based on the tv show and the Sixth Sense series (intermediate reading level) based on the kid in the movie; but FOOL MOON is the novel that all others would be measured against. It's a Frank Sinatra in a room full of barking dogs. And do not miss Naked Came the Sasquatch by John Boston!
Book Review: The Dresden series Summary: 5 Stars
In book two of The Dresden file books, Harry Dresden is yet again called to another murder. This time, the body has been shredded and torn apart by something that is not human. That is why Harry is called in, to find out what is causing all the chaos. Again, this story is a quick read, and very entertaining. You do not have to be a sci-fi fan to enjoy this book. If you like a good murder mystery, who-dun-it sort of thing, give this book a try.
Book Review: Excellent piece of urban fantasy Summary: 5 Stars
This second book in the Dresden series was surprisingly good. I saw the TV series on SCI-FI channel before they canned it, and the series took elements of several early books for its episodes.
That said, once I shed what I thought was going to happen and focused on what WAS happening, the book unfolded rather impressively.
Dresden, wizard and private eye...wonderful character.
Book Review: Great followup to 'Storm Front' Summary: 5 Stars
After reading the first 'Dresden Files' book, I eagerly dove into 'Fool Moon.' I was delighted to find it an even more engrossing read than 'Storm Front.' New friends, new enemies, and a mystery that seems to grow deeper with each clue uncovered until the final, climactic confrontation. If you decide to read this book, make sure you have a few free hours ahead, because you won't want to put it down!
Book Review: Great Read! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book. This is only the second Dresden Files book that I have read, but I plan to read them all in order. For people that have watched the series on Sci-Fi -- this is better and completely different than the werewolf episode from the television series. I particularly liked getting to know more about what makes Harry "tick". I have recommended this book to my friends and family.
