Book Review: Looking for good travel information

I was looking for detailed information on the North Woods area of Maine. this book had good reviews and I thought I would try it.
I was very disappointed in this book. It gives very little information on the area of Maine that I was interested in. There were very few restaurants listed. In fact after spending time on the internet I found more information on this are than from this book including many restaurants.
I was under the impression that the Fodor's Maine, Vermont & New hampshire book would give information on trails to hike in the Baxter State Park, but it didn't.
If you are looking for a good book for the area of central to northern Maine, this is not the book for you. It was over priced and not worth buying.
