Listening to C2C, and by reading other UFO books, I became familiar with Mr. Friedman's work - He is one of the best researchers out there in the UFO world - And has done allot of hard work to help the "cause". This was my first reading of Mr. Friedman's work, and I congratulate him for putting things in lame mans terms. He is bringing more clarity to us interested in the UFO world. His book cleared up some of the mystery surrounding the MJ-12 Docs., provided me with some of the basics of his field of nuclear science, who some of the key government players are/were, and some additional information on Roswell. However, a great deal of the book (in my opinion) was spent addressing "debunkers, The Press and "science fiction writers" and their harsh views on ufology. - Which I really didn't care about "them" anyway - (Debunkers, the Press, Science Fiction writers and alike). I would have liked to have seen some more "NEW" information, or additional clarity to "OLD" information, and less time spent on the aforementioned parties. To that end, I greatly appreciate this book, and would recommend it to anyone interested in the field of ufology - It is yet one more piece of the puzzle or for those interested in this field. - Thanks Stan, and be rest assured I will be picking up a copy of your book adressing the Betty and Barney Hill story! I look forward to your future work!

Flying Saucers and Science is a comprehensive look at the scientific data on the flying saucer phenomenon. Nuclear physicist and lecturer Stanton T. Friedman has distilled more than 40 years of research on UFOs, and shares his work on a wide variety of classified advanced nuclear and space systems. He answers a number of physics questions in layman's terms, and establishes that travel to nearby stars is within reach without violating the laws of physics.Photographs of little known, far-out advanced propulsion systems, on some of which he worked, are included.
