Book Reviews of Fix-it And Forget-it 5-ingredient FavoritesBook Review: As easy as it sounds Summary: 5 StarsThis cookbook really is chock-full of recipes you can just throw together in the slow-cooker and forget about until it's time to eat. Plus...the ingredients are things that would typically be found in one's kitchen and most recipes do call for only 5 ingredients. Additionally, the recipes in this book don't call for a lot of prep time. This cookbook will ensure that our slow-cooker gets used a lot more frequently.
Book Review: Not my favorite Summary: 3 StarsThis isn't my favorite cookbook. They've crammed several recipes onto one page and the print is small. The recipes are decent tasting.
Book Review: I Cannot Live Without this Cook Book Summary: 5 StarsMy Mom sent Fix It and Forget It to me when she gave me a crock pot as a gift and I use it weekly if not more!! It is so easy to use and so many yummy recipes to choose from!! I have also sent it as a gift now and tell all my friends about it.
Book Review: Too much Velvetta Summary: 3 StarsI bought this for my graduate student daughter along with a slow cooker she wanted. I thought this would be the perfect companion for the slow cooker since her time is so limited. While there are many very good sounding recipes quite a few use Velvetta - not the healthiest of choices. In retrospect I think I should have gotten the "Fix-it & Forget-it Healthy" cook book instead.
Book Review: Bland Food Summary: 1 StarsMy wife and I have tried several recipes from this book and every single one of them lacked flavor. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
