Book Review: Should be A Movie
Summary: 5 Stars
Why is it that when people review a book they tend to tell the whole story???? I thought when you reviewed a book, you just said what you did or did not like about the book and that is all, instead of revealing and ruining it for everyone else. I'm sorry, but I just had to get that off my chest.
Anyway, to get to the meat of the matter, the book was another masterpiece from Ms. Harris. I savored every morsel of it and did not want it to end. I identified with her main character and found her other characters equally as satisfying and I hope some smart producer will make a movie out of it. (It certainly would be a better movie than most of them that are being produced right now).

Summary of Five Quarters of the Orange: A Novel (P.S.)
When Framboise Simon returns to a small village on the banks of the Loire, the locals do not recognize her as the daughter of the infamous woman they hold responsible for a tragedy during the German occupation years ago. But the past and present are inextricably entwined, particularly in a scrapbook of recipes and memories that Framboise has inherited from her mother.
