Book Review: The TRUE, natural laws way to live and attain wellness...
Summary: 5 Stars

JCoomes, I have studied human health, nutrition, exercise, etc. and have bodybuild for almost 12 years (I am 25). I used to think such as you, also receiving and for a short time buying into what the traditional, mainstream education indoctination system presents as truth as far as the reductionism/minutae studying of physiology, anatomy, nutrition, kinesiology, etc. For instance the Second Law of Thermodynamics doesn't 100% apply to energy intake and expenditure, when it comes to the dynamic, living, human body. I for over 10 years used to believe in the "calorie theory" myself, as well as the need to make sure my food intake provided me with the balanced amount of micro and macro nutrients. Tell me, does every other creature on the entire Earth carry a Pocket Food Table Guide and calculator before every meal?? People like you are illogical at best, and lethal at worst.
Also, remember, complete protein is any fruit and vegetable (8 essentials) or nut; not just animal products which have all 21-22 amino acids (keep in mind there was ONE study in the 1940's using rats, which require 10 essential amino acids through diet, were they until this day, have extrapolated that animal products are the BEST source for "complete protein"... this is a direct contradiction to the ESTABLISHMENT's OWN STUDIES and proof that humans only require 8 essential aminos!!!!!... ALSO, a bomb calorimeter in no logical or realisitical way represents food combustion/energy utilization of food in the human body; too many factors are omitted, including optimal sunshine (enzyme activation and various nutrients being synthesized, plus hormaone regulation), optimal breathing (without enough oxygen, food/calorie utilization is hindered and greatly reduced); clean, pure water; optimal rest/sleep; toxin-free body; optimal and proper exercise; etc etc etc etc etc. I could go on and on. I have read over 100 different books on human health, preformance, nutrition, exercise, etc., literally thousands of articles (journal and otherwise), dozens of in depth conversations and seminars with intellectual giants, and most importantly, have anecdotal and empiral proof to the contrary of what SLU or any other college/university indoctrinate people with; also to the contrary of the 130 or so medical schools, which teaching nothing of health, but only pathology and toxicology, and not so coincidentally are funded by the Big Pharma companies etc.

I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on with PROOF crushing what schools, dieticians, MD's, etc say.... you get the idea...


Book Review: This book changed my life

I have read this book and incorporated the methods in it into my life, and after one month, I am starting to feel better than I have in years.

I have started to lose weight that I have not been able to get off for years.. I have more energy. My shoulder and back don't hurt that much any more. My fat lumps are basically disintegrating. I feel I have found the answer to being healthy again and I am so excited!

That is why I want to share with you the invaluable knowledge I have gained from this book, and I would like to tell you my story. . .

Contained between the pages of this book is the truth about the food we eat and what the effects of it are on our bodies. It is written in such a way that anyone can understand the process in which digestion takes place and how what we put into our bodies is so very important for it to operate and feel good.

I am 46 years old and the mother of three children, ages 20, 16, and 12. I have been struggling with my weight and other health issues for some time. Basically, I have gained, over the course of 20 years, close to about 60 pounds of fat on my 5' 9" frame. To look at me you might not think I was overweight because of my height, but oh, let me tell you, I have been feeling it in different ways.

Right after my third child was born 12 years ago, I noticed a lump on my abdomen. Needless to say, I freaked out because I thought it was cancer. My ob/gyn looked at it and told me that it was a benign fatty lump and was nothing to worry about. I felt relieved but still got a second opinion from another doctor who also said that it was a benign fatty lump and that it was harmless.

I guess they were right because it never brought me any pain or disease although it bothered me that it was there when I would feel it. I mean, it was only the circumference of a nickel, but who wants a lump on their belly?

Well, after one month of incorporating the "eat more living food than dead food", I am so excited and happy to report that the lump is no where to be found! Every time I feel for it, it's just not there.

Get this book, read it, and follow it's principles and you will become healthier and happy that you did.

Book Review: Afterwards you'll know how to get and stay healthy, for real

I'd like to start by saying that I think everyone should read Fit for Life first and then Fit for Life 2 - Living Health. This second books summarizes well the facts illustrated in the first book, but you will get a much better picture if you start with the first book. Also, it will probably be hard for most people to make a lot of changes in their lifestyle together, while it will definitely be easier to somewhat change your eating habits first and then expand your healthy habits adopting some (or all) of the suggestions you'll find in this 2nd book.

This book is not only about losing weight, as a thin person is not necessarily healthy. It's not just about looking good, it's about feeling good and treating your body how it deserves and then seeing the results on the outside, as well.

This book gives a very good understanding of how everybody, no matter their age, can be healthy and feel great and have a better life, and it explains it all very simply, so everyone can read it and understand it.

I also found that the recipes in this book are much better than the ones in the first book. A few days ago I made "ice cream" using frozen mango, bananas and strawberries and my whole family loved it! Only afterwards I told my husband that there was no milk nor any sugar added, and he could not believe it! My husband is also starting to get over the common view that "healthy things don't taste good", and believe me, I am a picky cook. I am Italian, I love cooking and I was always convinced that a meal should leave one satisfied.

And the book really gives you the awarness you need that WE ALL NEED to do something to keep healthy, because IT'S WORTH IT! Now I am eating well (that means I am eating healthy but I am also satisfied about my meals), I have enough energy to take care of my house, my 2 years old daughter and my numerous hobbies, and exercise, I am feeling better than I had in the long time and I am losing weight! What can one ask for more?


Book Review: This book changed my life

I first got this book after I had my first child, when I needed to lose about 30 pounds. I adopted the eating principles and right away could tell that I had more energy and felt healthier. In fact, I loved the healthy eating so much, just tasting junk food made me wonder how I ever ate that! I ended up losing the 40 pounds and was at my lowest weight when I became pregnant again. Well, this pregnancy was so much different than the first because of the healthy eating principles in this book. I had so much energy, only gained 18 pounds, my delivery was quick and a lot less painful, and my baby was so healthy and strong from all the extremely good eating I was doing while pregnant. This was 8 years ago. Since then I have been tempted to stray and try other things such as the Adkins diet. That diet did nothing for me and did not make me feel good at all. I was bloated all the time from the sodium in the high protein foods I was eating, and I couldn't go to the bathroom. I don't know how people stay on that diet at all. So, I am fully back to eating fresh fruit for breakfast, lots of vegetables and salads, very little meat, whole wheat bread, and combining my food properly. And my appetite is under control since my body is receiving high nutrient foods. People can knock this book like the last reviewer, but if you feel so good while on this healthy eating plan, why would you think there is something wrong with it? Just because someone said? I go by what makes me feel good and what makes sense and this book's eatings principles do both!

Book Review: This book tells the truth

The Diamonds wrote this book in the 80's (also known as Living Health) and it is has stood the test of time. I purchased this book after reading their first book, Fit for Life. I can recommend these Fit for Life books for anyone who is seeking more energy, cure from illness, lower weight, improved health and also, spiritual awareness.

Don't worry the book is religion free. However a side effect of following the principles is that after several months you should start to experience positive spiritual insights and foresights.

This awareness has also been experienced by friends of mine who have followed the principles plus Harvey Diamond (he writes about it briefly in his book Fit for Life A New Beginning), James Redfield (The Celestine Prophecy) and Mahatma Gandhi (The Story of My Experiments with Truth).

Special note 1: Keep away at all costs from Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil or Fat (it takes 3 days to pass through my system and absolutely saps me of energy in the process - it is a hidden killer from the unscrupulous food industry and can do as much harm as heroin).

Special note 2: Keep away from mobile phones unless used with a Bluetooth headset (when I was on the phone for over an hour a day the radiation from my mobile phone sapped me of energy, sometimes for days until I added the Bluetooth).

Special note 3: If you are a smoker, I would strongly recommend Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. It will set you free.
