Book Review: Another great book from Baldacci

Unlike most thriller writers these days (Patterson, Grisham, etc.) the quality of Baldacci's work is not becoming weaker. In fact, unlike these other authors, Baldacci's books get stronger and more entertaining as he keeps writing them. First Family is a first class thriller from a great author. I finished this one in a day, which I usually don't do. Highly recommend it. Take any price issues up with the publisher.Book Review: First Time Author For Me

I know David Has written a ton of books but this was the first of his that I read. This book was pretty good but I thought it had a bit too many story lines. I didn't care for the ending, but the majority of it was very good. I cared about the characters and the main plot was well written and kept me turning pages. From now on I'll be looking for new books by him and maybe, probably read another one by him.Book Review: first family

As usual, David Baldacci did. it again ! I have read all of his books and thoroughly enjoyed them. His writing is always interesting and thought provoking. This latest one, THE FIRST FAMILY, is absolutely spell binding and I could not put it down. What a creative mind Baldacci possesses to weave such a compelling story. It really could be true. Good good read. Thank you!

Book Review: absolute power revisited

It is often difficult to find consistent excellence from authors of thrillers. In his classic first novel, Baldacci wrote of the addictiveness of power. Using characters that have increased in depth through three previous novels, he allows us to experience their emotions.
There is no predicibility in this novel, even for prolific readers. Power still corrupts, but with great style and ingenuity.

Definitely a good read! All of the coverups in the White House, makes you wonder if any of it could happen today with the President and First Lady making a side trip to the middle of nowhere to avoid blackmail and murder, plus kidnapping. Add DNA testing, retribution, illegitmate pregnancy, paternity issues, and kidnapping to the mix. Very highly entertaining, all comes together at the end.
