Book Review: Worth The Try

I just got it and have browsed through this kit (which includes two participants guides and a DVD with snippets to use at various points in the guides), and it looks great. It seems primarily designed for a small-group class type setting, but at the same time we will be able to work through it alone as a couple just fine. I think it will be a great experience for us, and it's already opened my eyes to some things from browsing through it. It is definitely centered around God, scriptures and prayer - ANY Christian religion can use the booklet. (I am of the LDS/Mormon faith, and my husband has a Baptist background.) Thankfully I have a husband who is open to something like this, and so I think it will be fun and insightful for us both. While we have no marriage problems, I just think there is always something to learn to be a better spouse. There seems to be a trade school or graduate school programs to help you learn to be almost anything, but no class or degree on how to be a successful marriage partner. I think this is a fantastic idea and think any couple would benefit from its ideas. It definitely makes you talk to you each other and look WITHIN while including God for insight.
