Book Review: Enjoy the content considerably

Although not without a certain amount of nostalgic longing. There are a lot of little tidbits scattered throughout the book, all of which contribute toward a sense of how special this show was for both fans and crew alike. Some examples that come to mind are the big red recall button from "Out of Gas" being presented to Joss Whedon by Alan Tudyk to call the cast back together if the show was ever revived or the cut lines from "Our Mrs. Reynolds" at the end where Saffron implicates the Elder on the planet in setting up Serenity. I'm looking forward to getting the second volume soon!Book Review: Terrific Book for the Fans!

Personally, I appreciated the high attention to detail that was put into the book; with cast/crew interviews, concept art, rare photos and even shooting scripts for the first set of episodes. However, I would not recommend this product for casual fans of Firefly or Serenity because they might not enjoy it as much as more serious fans. Eagerly awaiting the planned second volume of this book to be released in Spring of 2007.Book Review: Shiney Fun

Lots of color pictures, quotes from cast and crew and copies of scripts. I found it to be an excellent addition to my DVD set and a great way to find those tiny pieces of dialog that sometimes get lost in the action as well as some alternative/deleted/extended scenes. I certainly plan to get part two. Give your self or you favorite Browncoat this fun gift.Book Review: Nice paper, pictures, etc...

If you have a void in your Firefly collection, you must have this. Other than that...well it has beautiful pictures & makes a nice coffee table book.

Why do I need to read the scripts now? I can not give this more than 3 stars because of that. I wanted much more behind the scenes and making of information than this "companion" offered. What was there was great. But, I'm a fan, not a film student. An interview with Joss was great. How about with all the actors too? Anyway, what was there was good. Just needed to be a lot more of it.
