Book Review: Short, sweet and adorable

This darling board book features pictures of animals (primarily from the Midwest) blending into their surroundings -- a white-footed mouse, a fawn, a tree frog, turtles, a katydid, etc.
It's perfect for toddlers -- my almost-2-year-old loves the pictures, and I love that he's learning about some of the animals that live near us. (Lions and tigers et al. are great, but it's wonderful for him to learn about the animals in his own back yard, too.) It's also an extremely sturdy little book.
I have just one tiny complaint. The tree frog and the walking stick are almost TOO hard to see for little ones; the tree frog in particular. Granted, the book IS called "Find My Friends," which implies that you'll have to look a bit to find them, but considering the very young audience, I think those two photos could be a bit easier to find.
