For a long time I was searching on the internet for a book with studies in it. I feel quite lucky I found this one.
I am a pre-Consert guitarist my self, and this book helped me very well.
In this book there are both beginner pieces and hard pieces, which means, this is good for both beginners and more trained guitarists.
But, if you don't know how to read notes, you should probably learn them first.
I would deffinetly recommend this book....

Summary of Fernando Sor: The Complete Studies for Guitar
The present new Urtext edition of Sor's didactic pieces takes a different approach to that taken by other editions even recent ones. In preparing the material for publication, Chanterelle strove to maintain a close adherence to the composer's own statements regarding the pieces as they appear in his various writings. At the same time, each individual reference was evaluated against other available historical evidence to determine the extent to which it truly repesents Sor's applied technique, the way he actually performed these pieces himself.
